JP domain name administration and management functions were transferred entirely from JPNIC to Japan Registry Service Co.,Ltd .(JPRS) on 1st April 2002.

Statistics by March 2001 are on the JPNIC Web site, and those of April 2001 onwards are on the JPRS Web site.
