Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 13) Can I navigate in Japanese?

This is a question rather than a "goiken."
I am a Japanese student at Stanford Business School (U.S.A), and I would like
to navigate Japanese WWW servers in Japanese language.  I am currently using
Mosaic alpha 8 for Mac, but this does not seem to be able to handle Japanese.
 Please tell me if you know how to display Japanese on Mosaic alpha, and if
there is no means to do so, please tell me a good Japanese navigator.
Since my Microsoft mail has no Japanese capacity, please reply me in English
or attach a Excell file in Japanese.

そこの会員になる資格等を確認するためにアクセスを試みたところダメでした。　
OPUS.OR.JP の前になにか付くと思いますがそれを教えてはいただけませんか？

Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 16) Japanese Publications

Hello. My name is Scott Watson, I am from Toronto, Canada. I recently 
discovered the JPNIC on the internet. I have a fond interest in Japan and 
I would like to access publications on the internet to keep current on 
Japanese events. (I lived in Osaka for four months last year and I find I 
am losing touch with life there while I am in school.) Do you know of a 
particular area on the internet that has articles from Japanese 
newspapers (in English) that I may access?

Also, do you know of anyway I can get in touch with people trying to 
learn English? Perhaps I could talk to businessmen/students through 
Email. My Japanese is not good, but I can get by.

うになっておりますので、そちらにお問合せされてみてはいかがでしょうか。
　また、JPNIC データベースの検索( whois 検索 )を、電子メイルで行う方法に
関するドキュメントを文末に添付しますので、今後ご活用頂ければ幸いです。

Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 18) data feed into japanese schools

I have a question regarding the data/cable connectivity of Japanese 
schools, K-12.  I work at the East Asian Studies Center of Indiana 
University.  The State of Indiana is currently working with the regional 
phone company to wire most of the public schools with cable for high 
speed data transmission.  Our Center is hoping to put together a project 
linking selected K-12 schools or classrooms in Indiana to 
schools/classrooms in Japan via video camera through the 
computer/internet/www.  Do you know if the schools in Japan are wired so 
they could receive and transmit compatiblely?  I am afraid I am not too 
technically inclined, if you need any further information in order to answer 
let me know and I'll get it for you.

talk to please let me know.

1990年に弊社(横河・ヒューレット・パッカード株式会社)のUS本社である
Hewlett Packardが代行して積水化学工業殿のIPアドレスの取得を代行しました。
そして、IPアドレスとして
        139.154.xx.xx 
のクラスＢアドレスを取得しております。

現在、積水化学工業殿がインターネットへの接続を検討されるにあたり、
アドレスを正式に取得していることを証明する文書を弊社にご要求されています。

通常、日本国内でIPアドレスの登録/発行をして頂くとJPNIC殿
より郵送にてアドレスの通知をして頂いているかと思いますが、
上記の理由でIPアドレスの発行通知の文書がありません。
そこで、可能であればJPNIC殿に通知を発行して頂きたくご連絡した次第です。

Subject: (Kujo to JPNIC 4) Can't find nameserver of SECOM.CO.JP from sh.nic.ad.jp

昨日(12/22)より本日にかけて、
sh.nic.ad.jp から SECOM.CO.JP の nemeserverが見つけられない
など、ドメイン情報を正しく見つけられない時があるように見受
けられます。
SECOM.CO.JP は IIJ(株)とIP接続しておりますが、IIJの
nameserverではこのようなことはないようです。
外部からのメールの不到着が危惧されますが、
大丈夫でしょうか？
現在の状況など、把握されていることがあればお教え願います。

Dear WWW manager.
I am Kim Sang Hyuk, at Kyungpook National University in South Korea.
I am interesting in your Japanese research and papers.
But, I can't read or print Postscript files in Japanese version.
Please let me know how to print Japanese PS file.
We have English version Postscript printer and 
  ghostscript version 2.6.1 under MS-Windows and Unix.
To print Japanese Postscript files, we want to get Japanese version
ghostscript under MS-Windows.
Unix version is very difficult to install because of X and c-compiler
compatiblities.
I have known to be convert Japanese PS to bit map English PS.
