NETmundial Initiativeスタンフォードコミュニケ(日本語訳)

市民社会、政府、民間セクター、技術および学術コミュニティ、および国際団体からなる、 23のグローバルなマルチステークホルダーから構成される、多様な、複数の地域にまたがるグループである、 NETmundial Initiative (以下「NMI」)の調整評議会(以下「評議会」)は、 2015年3月31日に米国カリフォルニア州にあるスタンフォード大学で作業会合を開催しました。この会合はInitiativeの組織、役割および活動について議論するためのものです。

会合参加者は運営規約 (Terms of Reference, ToR)案を意見募集のため公開しました。意見募集期間は2015年4月1日から5月1日(23:59 UTC)までです。意見募集期間の間、評議会メンバーを含むステークホルダーは意見を提供する機会が与えられ、評議会で検討された上で必要に応じて反映されたものが評議会の設立会合での最終文書として採択されます。

Initiativeは、NETmundial会合の協調精神を引き継ぎ、インターネット諸課題に対処してNETmundial原則の実施を推進するための、全ステークホルダー間の実践的協力を媒介するプラットフォーム提供を目指します。

会合参加者はNMIのプラットフォーム経由で現在までに提出されたすべてのプロジェクト提案を認識し、そのうち3件(NETmundialソリューションマップのプロトタイプ、インターネットと司法権プロジェクト、およびインターネットガバナンスにおける討論型世論調査)についてプレビューする機会を得ました。

また会合参加者は、NMIを進める上で、最高水準の透明性と包含性を遵守することと、グローバルなアウトリーチの必要性を認識しました。評議会の設立会合に向け、さまざまな会議でアウトリーチおよびエンゲージメントを進めて、NMIの構成、役割、活動の理解を広げることを目指します。
